Thurs. Evening Dhamma Talk and Q&A with Our Beloved & Venerable Thai Elders (In-Person & Online)

Thursday, July 9, 6:30 pm – 8 pm at St. Mark’s Cathedral’s Bloedel Hall (enter through back, lower-level of cathedral), 1245 10th Ave E. Those unable to attend in-person are also welcome to tune in via Zoom or YouTube livestream.

Join us for Dhamma talks followed by questions & answers with three of the most respected elders and senior students of Luang Por Chah: Luang Por Damrong Sucitto, Luang Por Damrong Siribhaddo, & Luang Por Jundee! In addition to being able to host, to hear from, and to support these senior disciples of Luang Por Chah, Clear Mountain will also be hosting Tan Ajahn Sek (guiding elder of Poo Maidaeng Hermitage), & Tan Ajahn Moshe (senior disciple and translator for the Western Sangha) this same day. Come learn from these wise and seasoned Dhamma practitioners!

What to Bring
A cushion to sit on if you want (though chairs will be available as well) and your love of practice!

Parking
Those driving may enter the campus at the north between the cathedral and the St. Nicholas Building – the location of the Gage Academy and Seattle Amistad School. They may then drive all the way to the back of the cathedral. Parking is free for Clear Mountain attendees even though signs in the lot indicate payment is required. If the “carriage gateway” behind the St. Nicholas building is open, participants are encouraged to park there. We encourage the use of public transportation when convenient, and the Seattle bus #49 stops at the corner of 10th Ave. and E Galer, just north of the meeting place.

Luang Por Damrong Sucitto (หลวงพ่อดำรงค์ สุจิตโต – พระครูภาวนาสารคุณ)
Luang Por Damrong Sucitto (Phra Khru Bhāvanāsāraguṇa), direct disciple of Luang Por Chah and monk for over 50 years, is abbot of Wat Pah Pluem Phatthana (วัดป่าปลื้มพัฒนา) in Buriram, Thailand. 

Luang Por Damrong Siribhaddo (หลวงพ่อดำรงค์ สิริภัทโท – พระครูภัทรธรรมสิริ)
Luang Por Damrong Siribhaddo (Phra Khru Bhaddadhammasiri), direct disciple of Luang Por Chah and monk for over 50 years, is abbot of Wat Pah Nam Khamgeung (วัดป่าน้ำคำเกิ่ง) in Ubon, Thailand.

Luang Por Jundee (หลวงพ่อจันดี กันตสาโร)
Luang Por Jundee Kantasāro, direct disciple of Luang Por Chah and monk for almost 50 years, is the abbot of Wat Pah Ampawan (วัดป่าอัมพวัน) in Chonburi, Thailand.
