Clear Mountain rests on the goodwill offerings of the lay community. Many people, who live in Seattle or help remotely from elsewhere, give time and offer their skills in a variety of ways to support the monastery.

The most reliable way to express interest in volunteering is to speak with a Community Steward at a Clear Mountain gathering or join Clear Mountain’s WhatsApp or Discord communities and look for “Volunteers Needed” announcements. If you have a unique skillset you think may be of use, such as carpentry (local) or video editing (remote), you may email steward@friendsofclearmountain.org with your interest and area of expertise.
